The Campbell Kids | Bethesda Family Photographer

Cate and Maggie are not only my neighbors, they are also Lucy's friends. I love these little girls so so much! They are moving away soon and Rob and I are going to miss them. They are incredibly loving, funny, and full of energy. I hope these pictures remind them of where they grew up and their special little pond with the white doggie they used to visit.

My little LADY | Bethesda Pet Photographer

I'm not a real mom...but I play one on tv sometimes (gosh, I am sooo funny!....)  Lucy came home from her haircut this morning and of course I had planned on taking pictures of her now that she actually was CLEAN. I had a whole shoot planned out..you know..because I hadn't just spent 8 hours taking family pictures on a farm in Virginia... and just as I was getting all the pumpkin paraphernalia ready for the shoot, I just looked at her.  She was patiently sitting on the couch waiting for the torture FUN that awaited her. Somewhere in the past month or so she stopped being a puppy and is now a young little LADY DOG. My little "baby" isn't a "baby" anymore. It makes me so sad. I still plan on  dressing her up for photoshoots, taking her to inappropriate places (who says those car seats in the cart at Target are just for human babies?) and making sure she is the most fashionable puppy in Bethesda. She may not be as little as I would like, but I sure do love the fact that she no longer has accidents and only every two weeks rarely destroys things. If my puppy can grow up this fast, I can only imagine how my "moms' feel. So this is my little PSA to all you moms out there. TAKE PICTURES of your kids as much as possible. Make a blog, a billboard, a skyscraper! Because one day all you will have are those memories and the time just goes by way to quickly.

August Update

I know I have been TERRIBLE at updating her blog. She is so big now and so naughty. Almost everyday she chews up something she isn't supposed to. I took her to PetSmart today to get some new doggie treats and there were two little girls who kept hugging and playing with her. I was so proud of Lucy. She was gentle and layed there for them. I'm hoping to remember this day the next time she destroys something important.

Escape Artist

This week is evidently the age in which Lucy discovered she was an escape artist. She has broken free of our baby gated patio at least 5 times. Lucky for us we have the nicest neighbor in the world who keep finding her and bringing her back.

Intermediate Flunky

Evidently Lucy has amnesia. She doesn't remember how to sit, stay, or even lay down. We had her final exam for intermediate dog school last night and she failed miserably. Oh well, guess we are going to summer school.

Happy 5 Month Birthday

My little puppy princess turned 5 months today. I took her to pet smart for her first big girl haircut. She is funnier and sweeter than ever and her big milestones this month have been that she can jump not only on the couch, but all the way up on our bed. She loves to be outside on the patio and all of the neighbors stop by to visit with her. Currently her favorite toy is a little soccer ball that the mail woman gave to her and basically anything she is not supposed to have. We woke up the other morning and she ate up a check, a cookbook, and Rob's glasses. We hope she learns the value of money a little sooner than later. The jury is still out on her haircut. It barely looks like her!
